A warm, directional marble
Verona Beige carries a cream to warm beige ground with brown lines and soft tonal changes across the face. Compared with Botticino Cream, which reads as a quieter and more even field, Verona moves more. That movement is the reason to choose it and the reason the setting out needs to be decided before cutting.
The balance between beige ground and darker vein changes from lot to lot. Select the actual block or slab group for the project, then review enough of the run to understand its full range rather than approving one unusually quiet piece.

Set the vein before the saw
On a floor, the vein can run with the longest dimension of the room, turn across it, or be mixed deliberately. On a wall, adjacent slabs can continue the movement or open into a book match. Each result needs a different cutting sequence, so the direction belongs on the setting out drawing rather than being decided while the stone is fixed.
Slab is the right format for a reception front, vanity, counter or feature wall where the movement should stay continuous. Tile is the practical format for larger floors, stairs and repeating wall modules. Both can be cut from the same selected lot so adjoining surfaces keep the same ground tone.

Finish for light, grip and wear
A polished face deepens the beige ground and makes the brown movement read at its strongest. It suits vertical work, counters and dry internal floors. Honing removes the reflection and lifts the ground slightly, giving a quieter surface that hides fine wear more easily.
Bush hammered, antique, flamed, acid and saw cut finishes introduce texture for steps, thresholds and exposed surfaces. Finish samples should be made from the selected lot because the same treatment reads differently as the ground tone changes. Marble is calcareous, so use a neutral cleaner and wipe acidic spills before they etch the face.
